If you're a regular blog reader, you may have noticed that I haven't done a Monthly Favourites post in a while. I was finding they were getting a little bit repetitive, so I've decided to do Seasonal Favourites instead. Now that June is around the corner and spring is winding down, here are my most-used and most-loved products this season.
I was given this perfume as a gift and have taken to wearing it almost every day! It's a great scent for spring because it's fresh and mildly floral with notes of jasmine and teak wood.
This primer feels incredibly luxurious on the skin and I love the way my makeup applies over it. It feels very hydrating and keeps my foundation in place all day, which is exactly what I'm looking for in a primer. It also gives the skin a velvety finish which I find softness any little blemishes.
I was sent a sample of this product to try by one of their brand reps, so I really had no idea what to expect. I have to say that I was really impressed with how soft and shiny my hair felt after just one use! I also noticed a lot less frizz and felt that my hair was less tangled and easier to style. You probably already know that I don't use shampoos with parabens, sulphates, or phthalates, so I'm happy to report that Monat products are free of all three! Even though I only got a couple samples in the mail, the packages lasted way more washes than I expected since the product is so concentrated and I was able to use Monat throughout the season.
I finally caved and bought this foundation. I'd been coveting it for ages since I've seen it recommended all over the place. It's not cheap though, so I waited until I'd run out of my current foundation to splurge on this one. I have honestly used NARS Sheer Glow just about every single day since I bought it and I cannot imagine replacing it with anything else. I just wish it wasn't quite so pricey because this has quickly become of my my essential products.
What beauty products have you been reaching for over and over again this spring?
