Natural Makeup for Lazy Days
I mentioned in my Summer Beauty Favourites post that I’ve been wearing a lot less makeup lately. Between working from home and frankly just not caring as much, I’ve been much happier with a quick, natural look that I can put together in under ten minutes. Today I thought I’d share my lazy day makeup look for any other girls out there who are looking to bring some minimalism to their morning routine.
I’ve gone back to an old favourite foundation because it is quick to apply and easy to blend. I follow a light layer with a little bit of my favourite concealer to hide any trouble spots.
No matter how lazy I’m feeling, I always set my liquid products with powder so my look lasts all day. I like the MAC Mineralize Powder because it gives my skin natural finish.
On lazy days, there is no time for contour, blush, bronzer, and highlight. Let’s be honest, it’s a bit much for a girl who works from home or out of an empty coffee shop every day. Instead, I bring colour, glow, and dimension to my face with a natural pinky-bronze illuminating powder.
I love this product because the applicator makes it quick and easy to brush stray brow hairs into place while also filling in any gaps with a little colour in a single step.
I keep my eyes very minimal with nothing but mascara to open them up and make me look awake and refreshed. I change up my mascara a lot but lately I’ve been reaching for the MAC extended play because the brush is small enough to get my bottom lashes done as well as the top. On lazy days, it’s all about finding products that can get the whole job done at once.
I know this may seem like a lot of makeup for some people, but for a girl like me who used to wear a whole lot more every day, this is a refreshing change. Do you have any products you recommend for a quick and easy natural makeup look?
