Things have been changing a lot in my life lately. A week ago I submitted my last assignment for graduate school and am officially done being a student (again)! Spring always feels like a good time to entire a new chapter, so while I'm figuring out what my next steps will be, here's a little life update.

Reading: For the first time in ages, I'm reading a novel: Here I Am by Jonathan Safran Foer. He's one of my favourite authors so I was really excited to pick up his third novel. So far I'm having a little more trouble getting into the story than I did with his last books, but the writing is excellent, as always.

Watching: I am obsessed with Jane the Virgin right now. I binge-watched all two and a half seasons on Netflix and immediately fell in love with the characters and the fun way the story is told. If you like quirky rom-coms that aren't afraid to talk about real-life issues, then this is a show for you.

Listening to: I never thought I would say this, but I'm really into the soundtrack from Nashville these days. I'm not really a country music person, but after watching the show I found myself wanting to listen to the songs more and more. Some of them are fun and upbeat while others are soft and melodic which are great to listen to while I'm working.

Working on: Nothing! Well, not really... But I am taking a bit of a break now that I've finished school. I'm catching up on some work I've been meaning to do around the house (like cleaning out my closets) and am taking on a few more freelance clients for the coming months. And I'm still working on blogging of course! I'm developing some new freebies for you guys so keep your eyes peeled for those coming soon!

Dreaming of: I'm dreaming of where I want to take my career now that I have my Master's degree. I can see a lot of options but, like most people in creative fields, I don't see a clear path forward. Graduating with a Master's of Fine Arts doesn't necessarily give me a straightforward line into my dream job... so my dreams are somewhat vague right now but I see lots of potential.

What have you been up to lately? Any changes coming your way this spring?
