December Reading List

I'll be totally honest, I didn't read much in November. It's not that I didn't have time, it's more that I spent my time watching Netflix and napping instead of reading. I'm going to try and change that this month though so I've got a new reading list for the holiday season.

Born a Crime by Trevor NoahI was lucky enough to attend Trevor Noah's Toronto book signing last week and get my copy autographed. Trevor Noah had a fascinating childhood growing up in apartheid South Africa and I'm very curious to learn more about that experience, hopefully with a touch of his trademark humour.

Here I Am by Jonathan Safran Foer - Jonathan Safran Foer is one of my all-time favourite writers and he hasn't come out with a new book in ages and ages! His other novels Everything is Illuminated and Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close are both on my list of ultimate favourite books so I can't wait to read whatever he's come up with next!

Vanity Fair Magazine October to December - For the last few months I've been putting three books on my reading list each month AND promising myself I would get caught up on my back issues of Vanity Fair. Needless to say, that isn't happening. I'm still on the October issue and the Holiday edition arrived last week putting me even further behind. It's time I got serious about getting caught up before the new year, so I'm officially putting Vanity Fair on my reading list!

What's on your reading list this month? Any good book recommendations for me to read in January?
