Now that the weather has officially turned and I've packed my shorts and sandals away for another year, it's time to start doing a little fall shopping. Here's what's got my eye this month.
Minimalism is my new thing when it comes to my wardrobe. I'm going to make an effort own less, but to invest in pieces that are classic and timeless. Key staples I'm going to invest in include a black bomber jacket, and Audrey Hepburn style turtleneck, and wear-with-everything black jeans.
In beauty, I'm very curious to try NARS Sheer Glow foundation since I keep hearing it's amazing and have loved all the NARS products I've bought so far.
When I've got a little extra cash I'll be splurging on this MAC Eye Shadow Palette in Warm Neutral. These look like the perfect colours for fall and I know I'll wear every single one of those shades!
Anyone who knows me knows my devotion to Kevin Murphy shampoo and conditioner. I've been using his Hydrate Me line for ages, but next I'm going to try the Born Again range since my stylist friend has recommended it.
When it comes to my home, this month I'm trying to get my office a little more organized. It's a shared space with a shared desk so it's easy for it to get cluttered. I love these little brushed copper pots and trays and I think I'll use them to organize our office supplies a little better.
Another goal for this month is to print and hang more pictures of friends and family around the house. I really like the idea of a simple clothesline with clips for photos because it makes it so easy to change up the pictures and it's much more cost effective than buying lots of photo frames.
Finally, I need a new teapot. It's a little thing but my last brightly coloured teapot broke in a classic instance of clumsiness on my part and a home isn't really a home without a teapot!
